I am Saquelain Shahidi. I live in New Delhi. After completing my studies from Hansraj College – Delhi University i moved on to some more learnings and work in theatre, media & academia. Worked with some amazing individuals in great organizations for a decade and a half, then took a break, went home to my ancestral village.
That visit changed something deep in me. The necessity of "BALANCE''. It is life, Body-Mind-Soul. I shall not ramble around in this zone, Thanks God for your plans and showing me my place. My roots. Smiles and stories on all those wrinkled faces switched the connect to my basics. Roots with a humble legacy. A treasured collection of knowledge about secrets of nature. Ways to get amazing healthy life. Herbal Formulas. All boxed under the weights of time. Leading to a simple chain of thoughts.
'I have closely witnessed the sufferings due to health issues in my neighborhood during my childhood. The harms we call upon due to ignorance and illiteracy, health we approach with unscientific temper, food we eat with adulteration. Nutrition must be a matter of concern for all the people. It must not bring more suffering now. We must all do our bit for those who dont know but certainly deserve. A healthy mind - to measure its intelligence and to know what to change for a healthy life.'
The pandemic showed the direction. And we decided to revive our ancestral work of herbal remedies. All planned in one small village in a mud house with thatched roof and tons of silence. 'The Green Bowl of the world - INDIA'. And that is the discussion around ever since, that's how our brand name was revealed then we registered it.
'Omer' means a bowl full of health or a sacred offering for a flourishing long life, 'Sheen' signifies the lustrous velvety shine the blessings bring, hence the circle of life in sync and balance with the creation. That's what our logo stands for.
